CVS: Turning $4ECBs into $13ECBs (5/22)

Posted on: 05/23/2010

Due to the fact that our CVS stores are not opened 24hrs. we are allowed to shop the current and new sle beginning 6pm on Saturdays. After the Women’s Expo last night, I went to CVS to roll my $4ECBs. Here’s what I did:

(2) Old Spice Body Wash, $4ea. ($4ECB)
-used (1) B1G1 Old Spice Body Wash (of equal or lesser value), FREE wyb any Old Spice Body Wash or Fresh Collection Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant (1.7 oz+) – 05-02-10 PG (exp. 6/30)
makes them two (2) for $4

(4) Nivea for Men Body Wash, $1 OFF, $3.99 (reg. price $4.99ea.) (Spend $15 Nivea Products get $5ECBs)
-used (4) $3/1 Nivea for Men Body Wash, 16.9fl. oz
makes them $0.99ea. or four (4) for $3.96

(1) Jelly Beans, $3.99 (*I only needed a $1.04 item, however my lovely son said that he “does not look at prices” when he picks things up…sighs…)
-no coupon

-used (1) $5/$25 CVS
-used $4ECBs

Paid: $4.XX OOP, including tax
Received: $8ECB Gillette/Old Spice, $5 Nivea, $5/$25 CVS
**if I would have purchased the $1.05 item I would have paid $1.40 something

If you don’t have a $5/$25 CVS Q or any ECBs, I still would encourage you to begin this week, reaping some ECBS.

Here’s your plan:

(2) Gillette Body Wash OR (2) Old Spice Body Wash
– use (1) B1G1 Gillette Body Wash (P&G 5/2) or B1G1 Old Spice Body Wash (P&G 5/2)
pay $4 OOP (excluding tax)
receive $8 ECBs

Hello and welcome! I am a military spouse & mom of four boys and two girls, ages 1 to 10, oldest diagnosed with autism. We're located in the Charleston, SC area. My family and my faith are very important to me. Since I've started using coupons I have been able to save more money and become a better steward of my household. I hope to seed into the general public, and our military families, how to spend less and get more.

Get ready to take your grocery & household spending to a whole new level! Couponing is not only a means to seed but an avenue to harvest...both opportunities are endless & a joy to delight in.

I welcome feedback and comments! Thank you again!
