Military Families: FREE Museum Admissions!

Posted on: 05/26/2010

I am so excited about this offer! My dear Hubby sent this to me to share with all of you.

Beginning on Memorial Day, 5/31, through Labor Day, 9/6, Blue Star Museums will grant Military personnel and/or their immediate family members FREE access to 600 participating museums across the Nation!
Head over HERE to locate the nearest museum in your area. There was only one listed in SC and it happens to not be too far from us; Gibbs Museum of Arts.

In order to take advantage of this promotion, one must possess a “Geneva Conventions CAC ID or a DD Form 1173 ID card at the museum admissions desk. Immediate family members under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an appropriate ID holder.”

Our 7-yr. old is really interested in Art and wanted to go to a museum to get “inspiration for his drawings and writings”…this is PERFECT! Now our oldest daughter & son are more into Science, ESPECIALLY our son, so I would love to take a road trip with them out of state to visit a couple of museums focused on that subject. When I shared the news with them, needless to say, they were EXCITED and wanted me to pick them up early from school tomorrow to go…uh, it’s not Memorial Day, yet, babies 🙂

Have fun!

Hello and welcome! I am a military spouse & mom of four boys and two girls, ages 1 to 10, oldest diagnosed with autism. We're located in the Charleston, SC area. My family and my faith are very important to me. Since I've started using coupons I have been able to save more money and become a better steward of my household. I hope to seed into the general public, and our military families, how to spend less and get more.

Get ready to take your grocery & household spending to a whole new level! Couponing is not only a means to seed but an avenue to harvest...both opportunities are endless & a joy to delight in.

I welcome feedback and comments! Thank you again!
