Kay’s CVSing…again: 6/10 (Revised)

Posted on: 06/09/2010

Did you happen to get one of the $5/$15 CVS Purchase coupons? $2 ECB (good for (3) days only)?

Here are a couple of transactions I’m considering for my personal $5 challenge…thought I’d share:

Transaction 1:

Degree & Dove Deodorants, 2/$5, Purchase $15 GET $5ECBs
(2) Degree Men Deodorant, 2/$5
-use (1) $3/2 Degree Men Deodorant (PRINT)

(4) Dove Deodorant, 2/$5
-use (4) $2/1 Dove Deodorant or Body Mist, Any (PRINT)

-use $5/$15
makes it FREE plus receive $5 ECBleaves a $1 to go towards tax so may have to throw in a filler. Considering two more Dove Deodorants and make it all FREE, less taxes

Transaction 2:

(1) Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor, $9.97 GET 5 ECBs, limit 2
-use (1) $4/1 Gillette Fusion Razor

-use $5 ECBs from previous transaction

makes it $0.97 plus tax & receive $5 ECB from Gillette Razor

Transaction 3:

(4) Glade Essential Oils Candles, 4oz., 2/$5
-use (2) $1.50/2 Glade Candles (PRINT)

(4) Windex Glass Cleaners, 2/$5
-use (4) $1/1 Windex Glass Cleaner –zip 90210 (PRINT) –click Printable Coupon tab

(6) Skinny Cow, $1ea.
-use (6) Skinny Cow Products (PRINT) & (PRINT)

-use $5 ECB from previous transaction
-use $5/$25 CVS transaction
-use $2 ECB (good for (3) days only)

makes it $1 plus get $10 ECBs back

(8) Windex, 2/$5
-use (8) $1/1 $1/1 Windex Glass Cleaner –zip 90210 (PRINT) –click Printable Coupon tab

(6) Skinny Cow, $1ea.
-use (6) Skinny Cow Products (PRINT) & (PRINT)

-use $5 ECB from previous transaction
-use $5/$25 CVS transaction
-use $2 ECB (good for (3) days only)

makes it all FREE plus get $10 ECBs

in the end…we would reap:

(2) Degree for Men
(4) Dove Deodorants
(8) Skinny Cow Ice Cream
(2) Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razors
..and either
(8) Windex
(4) Glade Candles
(4) Windex

all for $3, or less, plus tax and still have $10 ECBs to hold onto for next week’s sale!

…any thoughts?

Hello and welcome! I am a military spouse & mom of four boys and two girls, ages 1 to 10, oldest diagnosed with autism. We're located in the Charleston, SC area. My family and my faith are very important to me. Since I've started using coupons I have been able to save more money and become a better steward of my household. I hope to seed into the general public, and our military families, how to spend less and get more.

Get ready to take your grocery & household spending to a whole new level! Couponing is not only a means to seed but an avenue to harvest...both opportunities are endless & a joy to delight in.

I welcome feedback and comments! Thank you again!
