Kay’s Reapings: Rite-Aid 6/28

Posted on: 06/28/2010

I apologize for the lack of posts yesterday…it was my birthday and Hubby took me out to dinner…couldn’t even enjoy it with the crazy migranes, ugh! 😦

In any regards, I wanted to share a quick little transaction with you all that were seeking ways to capitalize on those Stayfree coupons, either the BOGO ones or the $2/1 ones that will soon expire.

Here are two transactions I did just today. Forgive me for not posting pics, we are on the road at the moment, but felt compelled to share…I’ll make sure to add pics tomorrow.

Transaction 1:

(1) $5/$20 Rite-Aid Video Value

(1) Brawny Paper Towels, $6.49 (on sale)

(2) Stayfree Pads, BOGO, $3.99
-use (2) $2/1 Stayfree product, any – 03-28-10 RP (exp. 6/30)
makes them FREE

(1) Clearasil Daily Wash, 6.5oz, $5.49ea.
-use $3/1 Veet or Clearsil (in-ad coupon)
-use $3/1 Clearsil (video perk coupon)

*I was informed that you CAN use an in-ad coupon along with an on-line video perk coupon & a manufacturer coupon by the head cashier. The policy states that the combination of them cannot exceed the item cost so I didn’t even try adding a manufacturer coupon to the mix as it wasn’t needed.

Subtotal: $0.97
Tax: $1.12
Total: $2.09

I repeated this same transaction again substituting the Brawny with the Quilted Northern as they were the same price and paid the same OOP. So if you ordered any of the BOGO coupons that came out on yesterday, this deal will still work. The Stayfree coupon available on the video value perk will not be able to work in conjunction with the manufacturer coupon as it is for packs larger than 28ct. or larger and the ones that are BOGO is only up to 24ct.

Worked this deal out? Feel free to share. This is a great time to increase your paper product stockpile. I will also be doing a couple of transactions for the Dixie Plates and will share that as I work it out but the general play will be this:

Transaction 2:

(2) Dixie Plates, 2/$5
-use (2) $0.50/1 or (1) $1/2 Dixie or Dixie Ultra Paper Plates, any package – 05-23-10 RP (exp. 8/23)
-use (1) $2/2 Dixie Plates (Rite-Aid Video Value Q)
makes them two (2) for $2

(1) Playtex Tampons, $3.99
-use (1) $1/1 Playtex Tampons Plastic Applicator Tampons, any 18 ct + – 06-27-10 SS (exp. 8/29)OR (PRINT)
-use (1) $1/1 Playtex Tampons (Rite-Aid Video Value Q)
makes them $1.99ea.

(1) Crest Toothpaste, $2.99ea. ($2.99 SCR) –limit one (1) SCR
-use $0.75/1, $0.50/1 Crest Toothpaste 4 oz or larger or liquid gel (excludes Cavity, Baking Soda, and Tarter) – 06-27-10 RP OR $0.50/1, $0.75/1 Crest Toothpaste (4.0 oz+) or Liquid Gel, any – 06-06-10 PG (exp. 7/31)
makes it $2.49ea. & receive $2.99SCR

(2) Stayfree Pads, BOGO, $3.99
-use (2) $2/1 Stayfree product, any – 03-28-10 RP (exp. 6/30) OR (1) B1G1 Stayfree product, any – 06-27-10 rp – valid up to $4.49′ (exp. 8/31)
makes them FREE

(1) Clearasil Action Control Clean Pads, 90ct., $5.49ea.
-use $3/1 Veet or Clearasil (in-ad coupon)
-use $3/1 Clearasil (video perk coupon)
makes them FREE

use (1) $5/$20 Rite-Aid Video Value Q

Total OOP: $1.84-$2.09 ~depends on Crest coupon used
Receive $2 SCR
makes it a MM (money-maker), earn $0.16 or $0.09 for everything above in this transaction.

Kay, are you allowed to use more than one in ad coupon or video coupon per transaction, of the same kind? I mean, say if you have three clearsil items, can you use three video coupons in that transaction? Thanks!!!

My family and my faith are very important to me. Since I've started using coupons I have been able to save more money and become a better steward of my household. I hope to seed into the general public, and our military families, how to spend less and get more.

Get ready to take your grocery & household spending to a whole new level! Couponing is not only a means to seed but an avenue to harvest...both opportunities are endless & a joy to delight in.
