Reaping Your Harvest: Virtual Seed Sowing Coupon Workshops?

Posted on: 07/09/2010

I have been pondering over this for some time now. There have been NUMEROUS deal seekers interested in attending coupon workshops, and for some reason or another cannot attend select dates. What do you all, past attendees, current couponers, potential attendees, think of Reaping Your Harvest offering virtual couponing workshops?

The classes would be conducted pretty much the same way “live” sessions are held, with the addition of a Power Point presentation. offered via Go To Payments would be received through Pay Pal PRIOR to the scheduled session. Of course, I cannot control whether or not a person is honest or not about the number of attendees in attendance, so all I can do in that case is pray that integrity is at the fore-front should this idea becomes a reality.

Any ideas and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Even if you don’t plan to attend one of the workshops, but could share some constuctive criticism, we would greatly appreciative.

If you prefer you could e-mail your comments: seed to feed @ gmail . com (of course without the spaces)

Thanks in advance…

hmmmm. I think it’s a good idea! And, you won’t have to travel. The ones I’ve seen have been short video blurbs that one just opens up and views anytime. I take scrapbooking classes – pay as you learn – and it works just fine. One thought – what if you have a “class” that wants to do it; a church group? How will you handle that?

That’s the part that stumps Hubby and I…do I simply go to the larger groups and leave the virtual opportunities opened to individuals or do I have a flat rate to charge for groups over a specific number of participants. Another option would be to record the sessions on DVDs and offer them to groups to administer as an outreach opportunity for their church.

In the end, we want to make this work out for everyone and will still be available for “live” sessions…just wanted to add other options for those unable to attend or prefer learning from the comfort of their own homes…cancels out the need for babysitter issues, as well.

Thanks so much for your input, Laraine!

Continued blessings& prosperity.

Reaping In Abundance, Kay

Hi Kay, You know I am one of your biggest fans. I can see how this would work. I know for some homeschool classes now, you can pay via paypal & then log in for so many sessions that are prerecorded & do at your own pace, within certain dates. In other words, you can log in say within a month & complete these prerecorded classes or workshops. After the time is up, you can’t log in anymore & new classes are up usually. I can see how you could do the coupon workshops like that. Prerecord them first then offer them for download or on dvd like you mentioned? You could leave yours up online versus like the classes I’m talking about that pull them off their site.

Congratulations on your anniversary! Margaret

Hello and welcome! I am a military spouse & mom of four boys and two girls, ages 1 to 10, oldest diagnosed with autism. We're located in the Charleston, SC area. My family and my faith are very important to me. Since I've started using coupons I have been able to save more money and become a better steward of my household. I hope to seed into the general public, and our military families, how to spend less and get more.

Get ready to take your grocery & household spending to a whole new level! Couponing is not only a means to seed but an avenue to harvest...both opportunities are endless & a joy to delight in.

I welcome feedback and comments! Thank you again!
