Kay’s Reapings: Publix 8/15 (FREE Hawaiian Punch)

Posted on: 08/15/2010

While I went out on yesterday to do the “Homework Assignment” I found the $15 in savings single sheet coupon flyer with various Publix coupons on it. Upon the list of coupons was one to save $5/3 Stayfree (32ct.)

I recall ordering the BOGO Stayfree coupons a while back and was set on relocating amongst all the coupons I thought that I would never get a chance to use before their expiration date. After searching for, what seemed like, almost an hour I found them and began to petition for a “deal”.

In order to avoid clearing the shelves I broke the deal up into two transactions and worked one at each of my local stores.

Here’s what I got:

(9) Stayfree Pads, 32ct (Package states 32ct. with 24+8 Bonus on it), $1.99ea.
-used (4) BOGO Stayfree, 6/27RP (exp. 8/31)
-used (3) $5/3 Stayfree Pads, 32ct., $15 Savings Publix Flyer (found these yesterday (8/14) at the Dorchester Rd. store on a tearpad in the front where the Listerine and Pads are displayed in the Pharmacy section. You MUST purchase the packs that state 32ct. in order to use the Publix coupon.)
makes them FREE plus $5 overage

(6) Hawaiian Punch, Gallon, 3/$5
-no coupons

(1) $5/$25 Rite-Aid (PRINT)

Order Total: -0.05
Sales Tax: $1.25
Food Tax: $0.05
Grand Total (OOP): $1.25
Your Savings at Publix: $42.72

…I then repeated the same transation with the same results at the next store…so a total of $2.50 OOP for everything.

Hello and welcome! I am a military spouse & mom of four boys and two girls, ages 1 to 10, oldest diagnosed with autism. We're located in the Charleston, SC area. My family and my faith are very important to me. Since I've started using coupons I have been able to save more money and become a better steward of my household. I hope to seed into the general public, and our military families, how to spend less and get more.

Get ready to take your grocery & household spending to a whole new level! Couponing is not only a means to seed but an avenue to harvest...both opportunities are endless & a joy to delight in.

I welcome feedback and comments! Thank you again!
