Publix: New Week, New Deal (Using $5/5 Kraft Printable)

Posted on: 09/03/2010

Kraft just released an awesome coupon for their Diary & Cheese Products. Go HERE to print your two (2) $5/5 Kraft Cheese and/or Diary Products.

***A few things to note: This coupon offer is valid 9/1-11/7. Coupon is valid only on items 6oz. or larger; Kraft cheeses: Singles, Parmesan Cheese, Natural Cheese (chunks, shredded, 5oz+ crumbles, sticks and cubes), String-Ums, Cracker Cuts, Deli Deluxe Slices, Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Velveeta, Cracker Barrel (5 oz+), Cheez Whiz, Breakstone’s or Knudsen’s Sour Cream or Cottage Cheese (16 oz+, not valid in CO, CA, ND.

I recall past readers Krista & Marie (not sure if they’re still around) seeking out deals for cheese products, among other things, when we were discussing “Make A Plan” scenarios. This is an absolutely GREAT week to work on this, if others are still seeking opportunities to either stockup or replenish.

Here are some of the Diary & Cheese products currently on sale at Publix:

Kraft Velveeta Cheese Products, 16oz. box, BOGO, $3.85
Kraft Chunk, Cracker Cut, Cubes, or Shredded Cheese, 4.5-8oz., 2/$4
(to be in compliance with the coupons you must purchase the items that are 6oz. or larger)
Breakstone’s Temp Tee Cream Cheese, Whipped, 8oz., 2/$3
Breakstone Sour Cream, 16oz., 5/$5
Kraft American Cheese Singles, Yellow or White, or Sharp Cheddar, 12oz. pkg., 2/$4
Breakstone Cottage Cheese, 2/$5

There are so many ways we can use this coupon. Instead of picking one or two items, I want to toss in a few of them.

Here’s an idea of what I would do to fit into my family’s needs:

-use (1) $5/$25 Rite-Aid (PRINT)

(2) Breakstone’s Sour Cream, 2/$2
(2) Kraft Chunk, Cracker Cut, Cubes, or Shredded Cheese, 4.5-8oz., 2/$4
(2) Breakstone’s Temp Tee Cream Cheese, 2/$3
(2) Kraft American Cheese Singles, Yellow or White, or Sharp Cheddar, 12oz. pkg., 2/$4
(2) Kraft Velveeta Cheese Products, 16oz. box, BOGO, $3.85

-use (2) $5/5 Kraft Diary or Cheese Products (PRINT)
makes the above ten (10) items $6.85

(4) French’s Mustard, BOGO, $1.79
-use (4) $0.50/1 French’s Mustard (PRINT) & (PRINT)
-use $0.50/1 French’s Mustard ~Military Tearpad *accepted as MFQ
makes them FREE plus $0.42 overage

(4) Nabisco Cookies or Crackers, 2/$1 (up by the registers at Dorchester Rd. store)
-use $1/2 Nabisco Cookies or Crackers (Rite-Aid Vid. Q)
makes them FREE

(4) Dixie Ultra Paper Plates, BOGO, $2.99
-use (2) $2/2 Dixie Ultra Plates, 30ct., 8.5in. (Rite-Aid Vid. Value Q)
-use (2) $1/2 Dixie Plates (PRINT)
makes them FREE when stacking Rite-Aid Q AND $1/2 Print

(2) Dixie Napkins, 160ct., $1.50ea. or 200, $2.39ea.
-use (2) FREE Dixie Napkins, 160ct or 200ct. (value not to exceed $3.30) wyb (2) Dixie Plates (on select plates)
makes them FREE

Subtotal: $33.19
Total OOP: $1.41 plus tax

Again, this is only an idea I wanted to share with those interested in taking advantage of that great Kraft coupon. PLEASE do not feel compelled to run to the store to work this transaction, as I’m sure MANY are out reaping their due harvests of Dixie Plates and Napkins. If you do work the transaction…awesome, feel free to share your experience…if not, also awesome as this can still be used as a guiding tool t putting together transaction to pay the less out of pocket while still getting items into those stockpiles.

Caveat: Trolley Rd. store stated, on tonight, that they will be NOW (as of 9/1, in the evening) accepting Rite-Aid Video coupons as “manufacturer’s coupons” since it states that on the coupon, even though the bar code is not that of a “true” MFQ, and will not scan…thus, resulting in them manually entering the coupon’s value. This concerns me on so many levels: how are they to be reimbursed for this coupon when there’s no redemption address on the coupons. Additionally, this WILL cause confusion among the cashiers and customers, as from previous experiences, not all cashiers are informed of the same information all of the time…AND won’t this mess up their accounting numbers? So many questions…which leads me to believe that, they may either do one of two things…return to accepting the coupon as a competitor’s Q or do away with accepting the Rite-Aid video value coupons.

FYI-On Friday, some of the stores were out of the Dixie Napkins that you could get for free with the manufacturer coupon. I received a raincheck to get the napkins free with coupon when they are back in stock.

Greetings Maleca!

I ran into this same situation but was able to receive a substitute for the napkins, following the same coupon redemption guidelines. I did, however, purchased 10 more on last night, but failed to request the raincheck for the FREE napkins using coupons. Thanks for sharing!

Hello and welcome! I am a military spouse & mom of four boys and two girls, ages 1 to 10, oldest diagnosed with autism. We're located in the Charleston, SC area. My family and my faith are very important to me. Since I've started using coupons I have been able to save more money and become a better steward of my household. I hope to seed into the general public, and our military families, how to spend less and get more.

Get ready to take your grocery & household spending to a whole new level! Couponing is not only a means to seed but an avenue to harvest...both opportunities are endless & a joy to delight in.

I welcome feedback and comments! Thank you again!
