Kay’s Reapings: Publix (9/2) ~Dixie & Pepsi Products

Posted on: 09/05/2010

So Thursday my Dad was not feeling too well and my Mom grabbed her things to go get some ginger ale…ya’ll know me, I couldn’t, with a good conscience, allow her to walk out the door to purchase a case of soda when I could work a deal for some. Fortunately, Hubby had a can here and I began praying for inspiration.

I came in the house that night so excited and frustrated, all at the same time, that I need to think on where I placed the two receipts to share the savings and totals. The first transaction, I KNOW I paid $5.54 because I was discussing with the cashier and one of the managers that my total should have been $0.54 had they allowed me to use my “true” Dixie manufacturer coupons along with the Rite-Aid $2/2 Dixie coupons. I immediately left that store, went to the second one and repeated the transaction and paid $1.40 something cents…huge difference. So for a total of about $6, here’s what we were blessed with:

(20) Dixie Ultra 30ct. Plates, BOGO, $2.99
-used $2/2 Dixie Ultra Plates, 30ct., 8.5in. (Rite-Aid)
-used $1 off wyb Dixie Plates & Napkins (where allowed)
made them FREE to $0.99 for (2)

(5) Dixie Napkins, $1.50ea., 160ct.
-used FREE Dixie Napkins wyb (2) Dixie Plates, on select packages
made them FREE

(5) Bounty Napkins, $3.13, 160ct. (were substituted for Dixie Napkins that were out of stock)
-used FREE Dixie Napkins wyb (2) Dixie Plates, on select packages
made them FREE

(8) Pepsi Products, 12pk., B2G2
-used $0.50/2 Pepsi Products (Tearpad) ~Military Coupon (doubled)
makes them $7.87 for each (4)

(6) French’s Mustard, BOGO, $1.79

You’re too kind! At the present, I’m not feeling too well but it’s not stopping me from wanting to head out to the stores again. Thanks!

Was there a new rite aid coupon for the dixie plates. I thought the last one out was expired.

Greetings Odika!

Yes, there was another Rite-Aid Video coupon that became available on last month which doesn’t expire until 9/30/10.

Hello and welcome! I am a military spouse & mom of four boys and two girls, ages 1 to 10, oldest diagnosed with autism. We're located in the Charleston, SC area. My family and my faith are very important to me. Since I've started using coupons I have been able to save more money and become a better steward of my household. I hope to seed into the general public, and our military families, how to spend less and get more.

Get ready to take your grocery & household spending to a whole new level! Couponing is not only a means to seed but an avenue to harvest...both opportunities are endless & a joy to delight in.

I welcome feedback and comments! Thank you again!
