Reaping Your Harvest

Publix: New Week, New Deal (10/6-10/12 or 10/7-10/13) UPDATED

Posted on: 10/06/2010

***I adjusted the scenario because I realized, on today, that the Peter Pan sizes did not match. I replaced them with two items that would increase your transaction total but reduce your OOP after coupons. Additionally, the price of the Vigo Rice has been adjusted to reflect the cost of the 5oz. bag needed for this transaction.

Welcome to a new sales week! We’re going to work on Bathroom Tissue & Paper Towels for those interested in starting or replenishing their stockpile. If you have enough coupons, you can always repeat these transactions. Remember, these are to be used as a guide and can be altered to fit the needs of your families.

Helpful Tips:

*All scenarios are based upon coupons doubling, when applicable.
*You are allowed to use (1) MFQ WITH (1) Store or Competitor coupon per item.
*Target coupons & FLIPs are limited to one (1) per transaction.

The idea behind these scenarios is to always get you the item of focus for the least money OOP.

(1) Cottonelle Tissue, $5.99
-use (1) $0.50/1 Cottonelle Tissue (PRINT)
makes it $4.99ea.

(1) Viva Paper Towel, $5.99

-use (1) $1/1 Viva Paper Towel (Rite-Aid Video Value Q) (Sept.)
makes it $3.99

(2) Vigo Yellow Rice, 5oz., $0.77
-use (2) $0.50/1 Vigo Rice (PRINT)
makes them FREE plus $0.46 overage on (2)

(1) Glade Tough Odor Eliminator Carpet Deodorizer, $1.99
-use (1) $1/1 Glade Tough Odor Solutions (PRINT)
-use (1) $1/1 Glade Tough Odor Solutions (PRINT) Target Q
makes them FREE

(4) Hidden Valley Farmhouse Originals, 16oz., BOGO, $2.95

-use (2) $1/1 Orville Redenbacher Popcorn, Food Lion Simple Recipes Booklet
-use (1) $1/1 Orville Redenbacher Popcorn (FLIP)
makes it FREE plus $0.55 overage

(2) Kid’s Cuisine, $1.93ea.
-use (1) $2/2 Kid’s Cuisine, Food Lion Simple Recipe Booklet
-use (1) $1.50/2 Kid’s Cuisine (FLIP)
makes them $0.36ea.

-use (1) $5/$25 Rite-Aid Purchase (PRINT)

Subtotal: $30.20
Minus Coupon Values: $30.50
Total OOP: -$0.30 plus tax

***If you have additional overage items, such as the Snapple (4/$3 using $0.50/1 Tearpad), Sundown Vitamins (prices varies using $3/2 or $1/1 MFQs with $6/2 Publix Green Advantage Q) use them to pay down your tax. If not, no worries as the majority of the items are food items so tax shouldn’t be that much.

thanks for the link to the vigo rice, i’ll be able to use that one on the $.77 rice 5oz.

Greetings Ms. Dee,

I was just coming here to update the price on the rice as I noticed the difference upon my arrival at the store this morning. I also removed the peanut butter off of the scenario and replaced it with Kid Cuisines as the coupons for the peanut butter did not match up based on the sizes required to be purchased and the size on sale…the scenario comes out better though.

Reaping In Abundance,

Is the Food Lion Simple Recipe Booklet still out? Do I just pick one up at Food Lion?

Greetings Rachel!

These booklets were out some weeks ago, and my sister actually spotted them and brought them over. I believe I have a few still sitting around, so if you’re local we could meet up and I could share one with you.

Reaping In Abundance,

do you have a Bi-Lo in your area, they have an awesome deal on the Vigo 10oz yellow rice and some more deals that are money makers! I’ll be happy to share them with you.

Greetings Ms. Dee!

I would LOVE if you would share any deals, including Bi-Lo with us. We do have them in our area, and I attempted to try my hand at posting the $1 deals for a couple of weeks (HERE& HERE )but got overwhelmed with everything else that has been going on around us.

Thank you so much for your assistance!

Greetings Ms. Dee,

We do, indeed, have Bi-Lo stores in our areas. I started a series of dollar deals posts for the store some weeks back but have been unable to keep it going with so much happening around. Any deals in which you’re willing to share please feel free to do so.

Thanks, in advance, for the seeds!
