Rite-Aid: Huggies Diaper & Cottonelle Tissue Scenarios (10/3-10/9)

Posted on: 10/06/2010

::Rite-Aid Coupon Policy::

***Limited to one (1) like Video Value coupon per transaction

For the past couple of weeks the deals have been really great and I believe this week follows suit. I received a request for a potential diaper deal scenario at Rite-Aid, so I went on the hunt to compile a scenario with little effort on your parts. To all of my diapering Mommas out there, let’s get started on, or add to, our diaper deals for this week.

I love roaming the blogosphere and forums to see if anyone else has reaped goodies worth passing along. For this week’s scenario, I was inspired by fellow WUCkie member, PacificTrioMom. To view more scenario ideas, stroll on over to the Rite Aid Deals on WeUseCoupons.

I shifted the deals a little, but not much, to fit the needs of my family, as well as to fall in line with the coupons I have available.

For this first transaction, you won’t need to use any previous UP+ rewards, however, if you have some, it will definitely reduce your OOP.

Here are our reapings:

(1) Huggies Pure & Natural Diapers, $7.99
-used (1) $3/1 Huggies Pure & Natural (PRINT)
-used (1) $2/1 Huggies, Pullups, or Goodnites (Rite-Aid Video Value)
made them $2.99ea.

(2) Edge Shave Gel, 2.79ea
-used (1) B1G1 FREE Edge Shave Gel (PRINT) ***excludes 2.75oz. cans
-used (1) $1.50/2 Edge (Rite-Aid Video Value)
made them $1.29ea. (there were some priced at $2.49ea., which you could use instead. Unfortunately, they were out-of-stock at my store)

(2) Crest Outlast Scope Toothpaste, 2.69
-used (1) $1/1 Crest Toothpaste, 4.0oz.+, 9/26 P&G
-used (1) $1/1 Crest Toothpaste, 4.0oz.+, P&G Booklet
made them $1.69ea.

(2) Oral B Vivid 3D Toothbrush, 2.69
-used (1) $1/1 Oral B Toothbrush, P&G Booklet
-used (1) B1G1 FREE Oral B Toothbrush

made them $1.69 for (2)

***Sharease your scenario will include (4) Crest Toothpaste using the $1/1 Crest Toothpaste, 9/26 P&G, as opposed to (2) Crest Toothpaste & (2) Oral B Toothbrushes

***Everyone will not have the coupons for the toothbrushes so add two (2) more Crest Outlash Toothpaste to the scenario, if you have the coupons. You can also add a $1/1 Crest Toothpaste coupon from the Rite-Aid Clip+ Flu Booklet if you have it to further reduce your OOP.

(3) TreSemme Hair Spray, $0.99ea
-used $5/3 TreSemme Shampoo, Conditioner, or Styler (Rite-Aid Video Value)
made them FREE *scanned for full value….YMMV. Please do NOT give cashiers a hard time if your coupon is adjusted, as it is their policy.

-used (1) $5/$25 Rite-Aid Purchase (PRINT)

Subtotal: $1.50
Tax: $1.50
Total OOP: $3
Received: (4) $2.69 UP+ Rewards ($7.76 MM)

….now, if you watched the Huggies Video last month, you could then do a second transaction along the lines of:

(2) Huggies Pure & Natural, $7.99
-use (2) $3/1 Huggies Pure & Natural (PRINT) & (PRINT) & 9/26 SS
-use (1) $2/1 Huggies, Rite-Aid Video Value (Oct.)
-use (1) $1/1 Huggies, Rite-Aid Video Value (Sept.)
makes them $6.98 for (2)

(2) Cottonelle Tissue, $6.99
-use (2) $0.50/1 Cottonelle Tissue (PRINT)
makes them $12.98 for (2)

-use (1) $5/$25 Rite-Aid Purchase (PRINT)
-use (4) $2.69 UP+ Rewards from previous transaction above (valued at $10.79)

Total OOP: $4.17 plus tax (Now here is where you could also use any other UP+ Rewards from previous weeks to reduce your OOP.)
Receive: (2) $2 UP+ (Cottonelle)
Makes it $0.17 after coupons & UP+ rewards received

Hope this helps!

Hello and welcome! I am a military spouse & mom of four boys and two girls, ages 1 to 10, oldest diagnosed with autism. We're located in the Charleston, SC area. My family and my faith are very important to me. Since I've started using coupons I have been able to save more money and become a better steward of my household. I hope to seed into the general public, and our military families, how to spend less and get more.

Get ready to take your grocery & household spending to a whole new level! Couponing is not only a means to seed but an avenue to harvest...both opportunities are endless & a joy to delight in.

I welcome feedback and comments! Thank you again!
