Reaping Your Harvest

I really would like to apologize for the lack of posts as of late. Over the course of the past two days I’ve experienced some extremely difficult challenges in which I need to fight through in order to be strong for myself, family, and each of the readers who take the time to visit each day.

Although I won’t go into the specifics I must say that in all you go through make it a point to never allow anyone else to dictate your future, your thoughts, nor your pure actions. I knew I truly enjoyed helping others avoid going through what my family and I had over the course of many years, but I never knew just how much until yesterday when I felt as though part of my soul was ripped out…yes, to me, it was that serious. Now, looking back on it, with the help of some really awesome people who were there to talk me through it, I can see God’s hand in it…showing me, even the more, that He is to get all of the glory from this and that I truly could not make it without His guidance.

I shared with my husband that I saw no way around this…I really wanted to stop blogging and simply crawl in a corner for awhile. When you work so hard everyday to share with others a mission so important to you and then hear something that makes you feel as if you are insignificant your whole way of thinking shifts and creates thoughts that simply should not exist.

Although there are hundreds of people visiting each day, it is rather quiet here most of the time so I don’t know from day to day how to be of service to you in a way to keep the site productive. I do thank God for the ones sending e-mails and leaving comments as this assists with sharing relevant information. If there are things that are posted here that you would like to see more of, let me know, if you are seeing some of the same things over and over again from other sites in your feeds and rather not see them here when you visit, let me know that as well.

I pray that each of you go out each day, work your hardest, accomplish all your goals, seed into the lives of others, remembering to expect a harvest in return, and NEVER allow the successes or failures of another determine where you would go in life. I pray for your continued strength and prosperity!

….now let’s get back to reaping our harvests!

To celebrate our 12th year wedding anniversary…with our babies.

Here’s a little laugh for yah…

Hubby and I met over 12 years ago via the internet. Yes, we were a couple of those people. We didn’t meet in a chatroom…didn’t find those places too safe. I was adding my “perfect” idea of a guy to my yahoo account, which included being 6ft. tall and a passion for football. Hubby, on the other hand, was searching a car….now how in the world did he end up seeing my information if he was looking for a car…lol…this is something we still laugh about to this day.

After dating for three months, the first month I had no clue we were even in a relationship…he proclaimed it from day one of meeting…you would think he would have shared this rather important information with me at the time :)…anywho…we were married after three months on his Grandparent’s 50th Wedding Anniversary, and here we are today.

It’s been a rather adventurous journey, both good and bad, but we’ve decided to place God in everything we do and to never leave one another behind. I can honestly say that I love him more today than I did those many years ago. With the passion he has for me and the children I’m sure we’ll be together for many more years to come.

Continued blessings & prosperity. Remember, you may not be able to bless everybody, but everybody CAN bless somebody…Think of someone that may need help on today and seed into their lives.

Love you all!

…that I can’t keep to myself!

I wanted to take a few minutes and share a piece of my heart with all of you that took a moment out of your time to offer a word of encouragement, whether on the blog or in a personal e-mail, during this HUGE moment in our entire family’s life. The death that we experienced was one that was felt across each generation of our family. So, again, as we all take this time to reflect and heal, my many thanks to each of you!

…and then there was light!

LATE last night my Hubby returned to us, safe and in great spirit. We did not inform the children of his arrival so when we walked in the house last night he surprised ALL of them! The looks on their faces were PRICELESS! My biggest concern was whether or not the baby would have a difficult time adjusting to him but I praise God for allowing their reunion to carry on as though he never left!

My continued prayers of strength, happiness, peace, joy, prosperity, and good health to each of you and your families!

Reaping In Abundance,
Kay

Due to death in the family I will be away from the computer from a little bit. I will be back a little later tonight to post our grocery trips from today and yesterday…must forwarn you that you won’t expect to see how much we paid OOP as…well, I haven’t paid that much in a LONG time!

In any regards, we should be getting back to some form of “normal” in a few days…

Continued blessings & prosperity!

Reaping In Abundance,
Kay

Hello and welcome! I am a military spouse & mom of four boys and two girls, ages 1 to 10, oldest diagnosed with autism. We're located in the Charleston, SC area. My family and my faith are very important to me. Since I've started using coupons I have been able to save more money and become a better steward of my household. I hope to seed into the general public, and our military families, how to spend less and get more.

Get ready to take your grocery & household spending to a whole new level! Couponing is not only a means to seed but an avenue to harvest...both opportunities are endless & a joy to delight in.

I welcome feedback and comments! Thank you again!
