Reaping Your Harvest

Archive for the ‘Amanda's: Weekly Meal Deal’ Category

As Amanda (A Few Shortcuts) has done, and so many others of us, we’ve used the $5/5 Kraft Product coupon (PRINT) to reap some really great deals.

Military shoppers can purchase five (5) of the Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Minis, for FREE. Publix shoppers can purchase the 8oz. bricks for $0.25ea. or the 3oz. ones for $0.09ea. after coupon.

What do you do when you’ve stocked on items, such as these, for very little out-of-pocket? Well, you celebrate! 😉

This weekend, Amanda has combined a great deal with a great treat…take a look:

Amanda’s “Snack”urday: Cream Cheese Swirl Brownies

As she does each week, Amanda shares step by step pictures, along with the recipes, the majority of which have a GFCF (Gluten Free Casein Free versus), and a printable feature for those interested in saving the recipes and using them as a guide during preparations.

Thanks Amanda for sharing your kitchen & talents!

Amanda (A Few Short Cuts), with a little nudge from Hubby, created some treats that, I believe, all Banana Pudding lovers would enjoy. Take a trip on over to her site for the recipe details and printing options. Be sure to let us know if you try them and what you think. I’m quite sure these may be a norm in our home, and those of our parents, as we all enjoy Banana Pudding.

These little babies look delicious!

-thanks for sharing your kitchen with us Amanda!

For those of you interested in trying something new or different for dinner, head on over to Amanda’s (A Few Short Cuts) for her Weekly Meal Deal: Chicken Panzanella. This looks absolutely delicious…more along the lines of a meal I would prepare for date night.

Tried it out? Let us know what you think.

Thanks for sharing Amanda!

My children would think that I was the best Mom in the world if I was to surprise them with this treat for movie nigh this week….definitely have to make it!

thanks for seeding into our lives every week Amanda!

These look so delicious and easy to make! My Mom and I love tasty onion rings. We’ve tried our hand at the onion bloom and it wasn’t bad but it didn’t come out like the Outback’s 🙂 Hey, Amanda, have you attempted the Onion Bloom yet? If so, please share your tips!

Amanda’s Tide You Over Tuesday: Onion Rings (printable recipe available)

These brought back sooooooooo many memories as this is how my Dad taught us how to make Peanut Butter cookies. Will defonotely be in the oven this week.

Amanda’s Weekly Meal Deal: Corn & Potato Chowder (printable recipe available)

Corn, potatoes, cheese….sounds like a few of my favorite ingredients! With four of my six little ones not feeling well, hence the lack of posts, I think this could be a VERY doable meal idea for tonight!

With Amanda’s (A Few Short Cuts) Tide You Over Tuesday, Weekly Meal Deals, & “Snack”urdays & Jennifer’s (Once Upon A Coupon) Weekly Publix Meal Plans, I think we should have some great menu plans ideas! You can always go back through their archives to previous recipes to work on a monthly menu, or to gather other ideas if you’re not up for the current week’s plans.

Hello and welcome! I am a military spouse & mom of four boys and two girls, ages 1 to 10, oldest diagnosed with autism. We're located in the Charleston, SC area. My family and my faith are very important to me. Since I've started using coupons I have been able to save more money and become a better steward of my household. I hope to seed into the general public, and our military families, how to spend less and get more.

Get ready to take your grocery & household spending to a whole new level! Couponing is not only a means to seed but an avenue to harvest...both opportunities are endless & a joy to delight in.

I welcome feedback and comments! Thank you again!
