Reaping Your Harvest

Archive for the ‘Harris Teeter’ Category

I came across this great little deal on one of my trips…thought I’d share.

Harris Teeter, until 11/9, has the Vick’s Cough Drops priced at $0.39 with your eVIC cards. Now, although this item will not produce overage with the current $1.50/1 Vicks product coupon (10/31 P&G), it will be great to have during the cold season.

Register for Driscoll’s E-mail Newsletter for access to your $0.50 off Driscoll Berries coupon.

$0.50/1 Driscoll Berries (Register)

This week, at Harries Teeter, the Driscoll Red Raspberries are on sale, BOGO, $3.49 ($1.75) (ends 11/9)

::Scenario

(1) Driscoll Red Raspberries, $1.75
-use (1) $0.50/1 Driscoll Berries (Register)
makes them $0.75ea.

***Remember, you do not have to purchase both items to reap the sale’s price, however, if you were to purchase two (2) pints of berries within the same transaction, you will only be allowed to use one (1) coupon, per Harris Teeter’s coupon policy. Thus, it’s best, simply to purchase one (1) if you’re wanting the best deal.

Today was an extremely LONG day. SO much has been going on lately that I needed some time to think, and what better way to get the mind under control than shopping.

Here’s what we reaped:

::Guidelines

**This event is much like the regular doubling policy, except coupons that have a value up to $1.98 will double, i.e., a $1 coupon doubles to $2, $1.50 coupon doubles to $3.

**You are still limited to 20 coupons per day, per household with no more than 3 like manufacturer coupons (from sources other than the internet, i.e., inserts) and 2 like internet printables per item.

**Even though each item rings up half of the sale price, you are not allowed to use two coupons on a BOGO deal. Essentially, no coupons on items that will already be deemed FREE. Some shoppers purchase both items but in separate transactions during the sale in order to use a coupon on each.

**Harris Teeter accepts grocery store competitor coupons for $X/$XX purchase amounts.

**Coupons will only double/triple to equal the value of an item, in the event that the coupon value would exceed the purchase price, making the item FREE…no overage

I’m sure there are going to be more added to this list before the week is over, but here are my favorite freebies or close to it.

I went into Harris Teeter on today to scope out the land. There were a good bit of goodies out that were worth purchasing. I grabbed some and may go back later for the rest, if I can stand the drive….body aching a bit at the moment. But I know if I don’t go back I’ll be kicking myself….we’ll see.
