Please be advised that the 10 for 10 promotion for the month July ends on tomorrow (7/27)! If you haven’t gone out yet this week, get on over there and use those coupons to reap some GBXs. If you’re not working towards anything specific, Greenbax Days is Friday-Sunday (7/30-8/1). You can use up to 10 GBX per day towards $15 worth of groceries! That’s FREE food…anything in the store is up for grabs. OR, one of our favorites…On days when you’re running low on cash, swipe the Pig card and get FREE gas! Remember, each GBX is worth $1.50. For every 10 GBXs you earn that’s $15 worth of gas at the Pig Gas Station.

Here’s what we reaped today:

(13) Bounty Basic Paper Towel, $4/2 ($0.50ea.) -offer expires 8/17
-used (6) $1/2 Bounty Paper Towels or Napkins (7/4P&G)

I must say, after all the running around we’ve done today I think I may just be ready to get back into shopping. To avoid getting burnt out, I’ll be sure to alternate stores.

Enough with all of that…

Today’s Pig trip was AWESOME! I was so excited I ended up seeding (22) $1 off Bounty coupons to fellow shoppers just so that they could start their GBX stash. The more I give, the more we’re blessed to receive!

Here’s what we reaped:

(20) Bounty Basic Paper Towels, Single Rolls, 2/$1
-used (10) $1 off Bounty 6-roll or (2) Bounty or Napkins, any size
makes them FREE

Total OOP (inluc. tax): $0.80
Received: 10 GBXs

….can ya’ll see my little Peanut’s head hiding behind the paper towel rolls ;)? He thought he was out of the picture…. 🙂

Have any of you been out reaping Greenbacks this week? For those of us that are so use to the doubling and stacking benefits at other nearby stores, I KNOW this is a hard feat to accomplish, especially on a daily basis, as your OOP is often times more than a cart full of groceries. I’ve taken the approach of reviewing my OOP versus the number of GBXs in which we are receiving back to keep me motivated. I love watching these GBXs add up and know that when it comes time for me to go school shopping and/or to purchase holiday gifts that my OOP expenses on those items will be greatly reduced due to this promotion.

Here’s what we reaped on today:

(1) Triaminic Cold, clearance, $1.50
-used (1) $1.50/1 Triaminic (PRINT)
made it FREE

(1) Greenworks Glass Cleaner, clearance, $1.69
-used (1) $1/1 Greenworks Cleaning & Laundry Products (PRINT)
made it $0.69ea.

(1) Smart Balance Milk, $3.99-used (1) $2/1 Smart Balance Milk (PRINT)
made it $1.99ea.

(2) Valu Sugar, 4lb. bag, $2.49ea. (FREE w/ 2GBX)-used (4) GBX
made them FREE

(3) Tony’s Pizzas, 4/$5 ($1.25ea.)
-used (3) $0.50/1 Tony’s Pizza (Tearpad)
made them $2.25 for three (3)

(4) Kraft BBQ Sauce, 5/$5 ($1ea.)
-used (4) $0.25/1 Kraft BBQ Sauce (on select products)
made them $3 for four (4)

Total OOP: $8.52 (tax $0.59)
GBX redeemed: 4 -these were still on my card from a previous promotion so hasn’t affected my balance for this week’s goal
GBX Earned: 10.07 (.07 for transaction 10 bonux GBX w/coupons )

I went out a little earlier today in effort to start preparations for our “in-home” sleep over with all of the children.

Here’s what we reaped:

(10) Johnson & Johnson Reach Dental Floss, $1.59ea.
-used (10) Reach
makes them $0.59ea.

Total: $17.
Total OOP: $7.
Earned: 10 GBXs

Initially, I was thinking on how I could have used those same coupons at the Commissary, reaped all ten for FREE and use the overage to cover a bag of chicken, or something. Then I remembered, each GREENBACK equals a $1.50. We recieved $15.00, essentially, back on this transaction. Subtract my initial OOP expenses and we made over $7! I think that’s pretty good.

***Last night I had Hubby with me when I performed the Day 2 transaction. When the cashier said that we owed $8 and some change, he was like, “What?! Was something done wrong? I’m not use to you paying money like that!” 😉 I may have to leave him home on future trips!

Here we are on Day 2 of our journey to reap GBXs to offset the cost of our children’s school clothing. I was able to locate the little blue coupon case…actually Hubby found it wedged between some sales ads in the ‘Rango. I was a bit saddened to see that there were only three (3) Dentyne coupons within in it so I had to get to thinking on what I could get with the other coupons I had on me…we went out with our awesome neighbors to Red Lobster to celebrate my birthday and upon our return home I realized that I left my coupon binder inside of the house. We didn’t want to have the children get in an uproar so we jumped into our ride and headed out for the stores and called my Mom while on the road to inform her of our “getaway”! 😉 Thank God for family…

…while in the store here’s what we ended up putting together:

(10) Rolaids, 4-roll pack, $2.49ea.
-used (5) $4/2 Pepcid, Rolaids, Mylanta, Dramamine, Lactaid, Imodium, Or Tucks, Any (Excludes Trial Size) – 06-06-10 RP
makes them $0.98 for two (2)

(3) Dentyne Gum, $1.19ea.
-used (3) $1/1 Dentyne Gum, any single pack – 06-13-10 SS
makes them $0.19ea.

(2) Tony’s Pizza, 4/$5 ($1.25ea.)-used (2) $0.50/1 Tony’s Pizza (Tearpad) -these were right next to the pizzas

Total (Pre-Coupons): $32.77 (tax: $1.80)
Total OOP: $8.77
Earned: .15 for the transaction & 10 Bonus GBX for the 10 for 10 Promo

I noticed on the bottom of my receipt that the dates for the promotion extended through the end of the month, specifically, 6/30-7/29. Greenbacks Days were listed as 7/30-8/1 (This is the opportunity to use up to 10 GBXs for $15 worth of merchandise throughout the store). Previously my receipts stated that it was for a limited time, and for that week only. Does this mean that you all took your surveys that were e-mailed out and lifted your voice for the 10 for 10 to stick around? If so, I’m sending up a PRAISE!!!

Here’s to praying that the Pig heard the cries of the supporters…

Pig if you hear…I’m gettin Piggy With It! 😉

Here’s our report for the first day of the Piggly Wiggly 10 for 10 Greenbacks Promotion. I was able to locate some items in the clearance cart that allowed me to reap some great items, a couple of them were FREE after coupons!

My initial transaction did not work as I had planned to do the Dentyne Single Packs, however, I have misplaced my small coupon pouch. I’m thinking that it could be somewhere between here and Walgreens. Within the pouch was my Dentyne coupons. Oh well…I pray where it is, I find it before the sale ends. If not, and someone else locates it, I pray that they go to the Pig and take advantage of the promotion!

Here’s what we reaped:

(2) Triaminic, $1.50ea. -clearance
-used (2) $1.50/1 Triaminic (PRINT)

(1) Little Phillip’s MOM, $1.50 -clearance
-used (1) $1/1 Phillip’s Product (PRINT)

(1) Scotch Brite No Scrub, $1.49ea. (hidden behind the Phillips)
-used (1) $1/1 Scotch Brite (PRINT) -no longer available (exp. 6/30)

(3) Scotch Brite Wavy Sponges, 1ct., $1.29ea.
-used (3) $1/1 Scotch Brite (PRINT) -no longer available (exp. 6/30)

(3) Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Sponges, 1ct., $1.29ea.
-used (3) $1/1 Scotch Brite (PRINT) -no longer available (exp. 6/30)

Total: $14.83
Total OOP: $3.83 (Tax: $1.10)
Earn: 10 GBX

**Please note that when you purchase items that are on clearance, the registers will not recognize your coupons. A manager would need to come over to verify the items against the coupons to push them through. Since the coupons were not able to scan due to not recognizing the items purchased, you will need to go to customer service to have the appropriate amount of GBXs added to your account.

Are any of you up for the challenge this week? Remember, the goal is to get 10 GBXs and use them to purchase a $100 Tanger Outlet giftcard to either reduce upcoming school clothes purchases and/or Christmas expenses. Others may feel fit to use it as a gas card or to stock up on meats during the Greenbacks Days.

If you want to participate, leave a comment below and share your deals. Be sure to let us know what you are saving up your Greenbacks for.

Hello and welcome! I am a military spouse & mom of four boys and two girls, ages 1 to 10, oldest diagnosed with autism. We're located in the Charleston, SC area. My family and my faith are very important to me. Since I've started using coupons I have been able to save more money and become a better steward of my household. I hope to seed into the general public, and our military families, how to spend less and get more.

Get ready to take your grocery & household spending to a whole new level! Couponing is not only a means to seed but an avenue to harvest...both opportunities are endless & a joy to delight in.

I welcome feedback and comments! Thank you again!
