Publix Weekly Deals: 11/10-11/16 (11/11-11/17)

Thanks, as always, to Michelle at I Heart Publix, for seeding into our lives through the usage of the matchups. Please visit her for the remaining of the sale’s ad.

For those of you that are military families, you’ll be happy to see that we’ve also included commissary coupons, when available. Unfortunately, our local Publix stores are beginning to view military coupons as manufacturer coupons because they scan as such. Still great to see what’s available. And now you can stack a military coupon with a competitor coupon, so all is not lost.

Just getting started? Check out the Getting Started Guide

Our sales week are from Wednesday-Tuesday

Here are the Rules:

* You DO NOT have to buy two items to receive the B1G1 price
* Publix (Oakbrook/Dorchester Rd) is no longer stacking their store coupon along with a manufacturer, and a competitor coupon. You will only be allowed to use a maximum of TWO coupons on ONE item, as long one is a manufacturer.

*Per Store Manager (Oakbrook) the penny item is ONE per customer NOT one per transaction. Therefore, if you are doing more than one transaction in a single trip please only grab the penny item once.

(Coupons listed in GREEN are referring to coupons in which military families have access to and CAN use.)

If there are things that you would like to stock up get to ordering your coupons now.

Thank you very much for your wonderful website!
I have a question. Can I use register rewards’ coupons from Walgreen at Publix? Also, is there NO problem to use $5/$20 coupons from rite aid at Publix? Thank you.

Greetings M!

As I’ve never used register rewards at Publix, I would definitely ask someone at customer service, I always prefer managers over anyone else, whether their particular store accepts them or not. I do know that Catrina has been able to use her CVS extra care bucks at Publix.

Additionally, we have had NO issues, in regards to the Rite-Aid $5/$20, nor the $5/$25 coupon. We have received word, however, that Goose Creek store has a manager that states that she will only accept the Rite-Aid coupon on health and beauty purchases.

This is definitely one of those situations in which you would want to know the answer to BEFORE entering the check-out lane.

Thank you for the compliment in regards to the blog. Continued blessings and prosperity!

Reaping In Abundance,

I did call the Oakbrook Publix today to make sure they do take the CVS Extra Care Bucks and THEY DO! I luv this idea…..:-)

Myra I can feel your excitement! Another benefit of shopping at Publix…basically using ECBs as coupons.

Reaping In Abundance,

Thank you very much for your reply!
I went to the publix (corner of Dorchester & Ashley Phosphate), and asked them about the register rewards coupon from Walgreen. They said I could use one coupon per one transaction.
I love this deal, because the register rewards coupon’s validity is very short! They said each one of Publix has different policy…

M’s thank you so much for reporting back.

Everyone else…It is then official…we can indeed get more than our money’s worth by utilizing our ECBs and Register Rewards at Publix.

Please note the guideslines each Publix has issued for using the above-mentioned. We don’t want another good thing to go away due to abuse of the store’s policy.

I’m excited for everyone and look forward to hearing of your future opportunities to reap a great harvest.

Reaping In Abundance,

This is a great site… I’m trying to get everyone i know into coupon clipping!! they think i’m crazy…. I just got through to my mom yesterday though, I would have spent $45… but ended up spending only $18 after coupons…. she was amazed!! Keep up the good work…

Now… I noticed on the graph you have to show everyone how the site works that under the BOGO thing it says you don’t have to buy 2, they each ring up half price – this is not correct for every store. I work at Publix, and this is how it works for us…. If the item you are purchasing is a PUBLIX bogo item, each one will ring half price. However, if it is a manufacturer/vendor item, you have to buy 2 to get the BOGO deal. (Some Publix stores allow their customers to get one at half price – you would need to ask your specific store).

Just wanted to share this…. Thanks!!

Greetings J!

Congratulations on seeding into the life of your Mom the blessings of couponing.

Again, I completely forgot about the stores that have true BOGO for manufacturer products. I know the stores in Florida are apart of the true BOGO family, however stores in Georgia and South Carolina actually have the products ring up half price. I’ll do some research and include it on my diagram. Huge thanks for bringing that to my attention…much appreciated.

Reaping In Abundance,

FYI Watch your coupons @ publix in knightsville. Their policies change daily. I figured out that it all depends on the cashier that checks you out. Very frustrating when you spend 1hour shopping and then the cashier wants to prove a point. So sad for them, I will now go to the oakbrook store, they are happy to have your business.

Hi Kay and Catrina,

I work with Dottie and I came to your very 1st class. I just wanted to share some information I learned tonight. I’m not sure if anyone was aware. The Publix on Central does not accept Family Dollar or Dollar General coupons anymore. I had had some to use on my deal tonight and I was blessed to be able to use them, they made an exception for me. Just wanted to share.

Hi Mariel! I remember you! Thank you for passing this information on. I know that each Publix accepts different competitor coupons so it’s always best to check with customer service. Publix does not have a set in stone coupon policy therefore there are coupon changes all the time! It’s still a great store to shop at. Thank you again for the heads up!

Seeding Into Others,

I have a question about stacking coupons at Publix. I know you can use a store coupon with manufacturer coupon or a manufacturer with a competitor coupon. Do any of the Publix in the Charleston area allow you to use all three together on the same item? I haven’t come across this particular situation but was curious. Thanks so much!

Hi Melissa! I know for sure that the stores on Trolley and Dorchester do not allow all three coupons to be used on one item. They did at one point some time ago but have stopped. I am not sure about the other Charleston Publix locations. Being able to stack all three coupons on one item would be awesome savings!

Seeding Into Others,

actually the one on dorchester and ashley phosphate will take all three, a manufacture, store, and competitor coupon on one item.

Thanks Reagan for the update. We’ve gone back and forth with this between the Trolley and Dorchester stores. Trolley still sticks with the max. of two coupons per item as such, manufacturer along with a store or competitor coupon. It’s nice to know that the Dorchester Rd. store is indeed allowing this stacking concept…makes for some GREAT savings!

Reaping In Abundance,

New Couponer,

Hello all. May I ask what the ECB coupons are?
What are register rewards?
Also, how would you use your CVS bucks at Publix? Would you take the receipt into Publix that has your rewards bucks on it?

I am sorry for all of the questions, but I am new at this and trying to save every penny that I can.

ECBs are earned at CVS drugstores on select items throughout the weeks. These ECBs, or “monopoly money” can be used to either purchase other items in the store that offers more ECBs (referred to as “rolling ECBs) or does not offer ECBs in return. There are some Publix stores that accepts these as “competitor coupons” and thus will deduct the value of them from your transaction total. This is definitely one of those situation in which you would need to check with customer service on as no two stores seems to be alike these days on their policies. In order to use them, simply remove them from the bottom of your CVS receipt and hand them over to the cashier as you would any other coupon.

Register Rewards are earned at Walgreens in pretty much the same way, however, more times than not, you cannot use a Register Reward on an item to get that same item again to generate more RRs. For instance, if you purchased Suave shampoo and received 2 RRs for it, you cannot purchase Suave shampoo again using those previous RRs and hope to gain an additional 2 RRs for the shampoo a second…have to spread the RR love.

Please don’t apologize for asking questions. That is how we ALL learned to get where we are now.

Hope that helps!

Reaping In Abundance,

Hi!! Thanks for the business card (White pontiac at Summerville Medical Center)!! I’ve enjoyed looking over your site and hope to save a little money now 🙂
