Please join us on the new website for the latest on deals at the Commissary, Publix, Amazon, Bi-Lo, Rite-Aid & MORE! Make sure you sign up for our RSS feed and/or follow us on Facebook!

We’ve received e-mails and comments on why the information is out-of-date and if we’ve “moved” so I wanted to post here, again, with the updated information.

For those of you who were unable to print the $1/1 Renuzit Cone coupon the first time around, Renuzit has released an additional lot to the first 70,000 individuals who share a little “like” love on the facebook page.

These are FREE at many stores, but those of you who are military couponers, add them to your stash for your next Commissary trip…makes them FREE plus overage!

-thanks Alicia!

If you have printed a copy of the Commissary coupon policy yet, or simply want to read over it to get a better understanding of proper coupon use, please head on over to DeCA’s facebook page and take a look.

It is VERY important that we, as military couponers, and those shopping elsewhere, ensure we are well prepared before and during ALL shopping trips. Please DO NOT try to deviate from the guidelines!

Today was an extremely LONG day. SO much has been going on lately that I needed some time to think, and what better way to get the mind under control than shopping.

Here’s what we reaped:

Greetings my fellow Commissary shoppers. If you’re still trying to figure out where the best place to use your Buy Secret Deodorant get $5 off Olay Bar, Bodywash, Hand & Body Lotion coupon, head on over to the Commissary!

The .5oz size of Secret Deodorant (trial size) is less than $0.80 and the Olay 2-pk bar soap is less than $2.30 or, even, the Olay Ribbons Bodywash. Using the above mentioned coupon reap them both for FREE plus approx. $1.90 overage.

If you store does not carry the trial size of the deodorant, there was a 2.5oz size priced less than $2. Still would make both items FREE with approx.

::Scenario

If the prices are still the same you should be able to reap these at the Commissary for less than $0.80!

I’m really beginning to believe that God is testing my level of faith in Him. More than enough times, I’ve left out of this house, over the past few weeks, only to realize that I’ve failed to bring along cash. I often times, drop change in my pockets from off of my dresser and keep what I get after bringing a dollar in my change holder within my purse. After my youngest daughter asked me one day if I was taking my change with me, I’ve always tried to have some with me, just in case….so glad I was obedient on this day…

I tried calling Hubby from the store but got his voicemail. We were on a tight schedule so I couldn’t afford to go back to the house.

Here’s what we reaped:

….how did I pay for it?

I reached in my pockets and pulled out this:

…used the paperclips to hold the coupons together, and prayer with a little bit of change to cover the bill! God is GOOD!

BTW, Hubby finally TEXTED me while I was in the checkout line to see if I was “OK”….thanks Babe.

I attempted to post this earlier, from a library, but I see that it failed to apply…so here it goes again. All of this was done in between dropping the children off to their specific schools on this morning. I forgot to grab chips for our youngest class, apples for preacher man’s class, needed to speak with dear daughter’s teacher about SNAP testing, and still manage to get oldest to school in Mt. Pleasant before they left for the horse farm.

Although I was getting things at the VERY last minute I still couldn’t pull myself to paying full price them. After some praying and clipping of coupons in the ride…here’s what the Lord blessed us with:

Have any of you added some of the Sominex to your deals, yet?

I was rather surprised when I reviewed my receipt to find that instead of ringing up at $3.19ea., they came out at 2/$3.19.

The original potential overage posted of $2.62 has increased to a whooping $5.81 for each two!

(2) Sominex, 2/$3.19
-use (1) $5/2 Os-Cal, Citrucel, Ecotrin, Feosol, Geritol, Tagamet, Debrox, Vivarin, Gaviscon, Phazyme, Sominex, Gly-Oxide or Contac, Publix Green Advantage Q

makes them FREE plus $5.81 overage, if allowed

Let me know if you find the same deal at your store…that’s already enough, along with the Rite-Aid coupon, or any other $X/$XX coupon to reap some nice deals, i.e., tissue, paper towel, sugar, milk, meats, product, diapers!

…in the end, whether you have only the Publix coupon, or only the MFQs, either or, they are still moneymakers!

I use to purchase these all of the time for Hubby. There are some pretty good selections available.

-thanks Heather & Chi-Town Cheapstake

I want to ensure I get this out as soon as possible as the sale ends on tomorrow.

This week at Rite-Aid select Nyquil/DayQuil products are on sale, $4.99 (receive $1.50 +UP rewards). I visited a couple of stores on today and the shelves were almost full, which is highly unusual for an item that is FREE after coupons & +UP rewards….my thoughts, my readers must not have noticed this deal…with that, on the last day, I bring to you a great little scenario (*psst…this would have been posted on last night, however, I fell asleep on the laptop…sighs…sry!)

What to know what you could grab:

(2) Gain Dish Soap, $0.89
-use (2) Gain Dish Soap, 10/10 P&G

(3) Vicks NyQuil or DayQuil Sinus/Sinex, $4.99-use (3) Vicks Sinex Product, 9/26 & 10/10 P&G
makes them $0.99ea.

-use (1) $5/$25 Rite-Aid Purchase (HERE) or (HERE)
-used $5 +UP rewards

Subtotal: $0
Total OOP: $1.63 (tax)
Receive: (1) $2 +UP (Cheer/Gain), (3) $1.50 +UP (Vicks)

***Your coupon will state that it’s for Vicks Sinex….please note that these are the same products. Vicks is changing the name. Some stores carry the new packages, while some are still selling the original labels. At another store that had the newer package the items still rung up as Vicks Sinus, as opposed to Vicks Sinex.

So I walked out of the house on yesterday with NO money in my pockets…I couldn’t even find a penny in my purse! In the hurry of our morning routines, I failed to grab, my usual, stash of change off of the dresser in the event a “scenario” is rest upon my rapidly, moving thoughts.

Ok, anyways…here’s what happened.

As I was sitting in my son’s school parking lot I began digging through my wallet and came across three (3) giftcards. One for Wal-Mart in the amount of $5 (used a part of that for lunch…stomach was happy), another had $1.03 and the finally one housed $2.80. In my beginning stages of learning this lovely art of couponing, I would have simply placed those cards back in my purse and cry defeat. But GOD!

My mind started focusing on the coupons I had within my purse and the cases in my trunk. I wanted to grab a few things for the school and our home, as I was completely out of my Lawry’s Seasoning Salt…a HUGE no, no!

Kay n Hubby FL
Hello and welcome! I am a military spouse & mom of four boys and two girls, ages 1 to 10, oldest diagnosed with autism. We're located in the Charleston, SC area. My family and my faith are very important to me. Since I've started using coupons I have been able to save more money and become a better steward of my household. I hope to seed into the general public, and our military families, how to spend less and get more.

Get ready to take your grocery & household spending to a whole new level! Couponing is not only a means to seed but an avenue to harvest...both opportunities are endless & a joy to delight in.

I welcome feedback and comments! Thank you again!

Kay
